Enervest has introduced paid parental leave for its employees across Australia, providing 20 weeks of paid leave for all parents. The policy reflects the company’s commitment to building a workplace that is inclusive, flexible and supportive for working families.

The 20 weeks of paid parental leave is available to all eligible employees and applies equally to every parent, regardless of gender or carer designation. The policy moves away from traditional primary and secondary carer labels, ensuring all parents have equal access to paid leave and the flexibility to spend meaningful time with their families during the first year of parenthood.

The scheme applies to birth parents, adoptive parents and those welcoming children through surrogacy arrangements. In addition, Enervest will maintain superannuation contributions during the paid parental leave period and for an additional 32 weeks.

The introduction of the policy reflects Enervest’s broader commitment to attracting and retaining talented people in the energy industry by offering competitive and progressive employment benefits.
